"Cover the earth before it covers you"

MOTL dandy manHi, I’m Raymond. I am not a fugitive. No really. I’m not on the run from anyone, anything, or anywhere. And I am most definitely not on the run from the law. I just like to go outside and see things. And then tell folks about it.

I worked in the corporate world for most of my life. I had it good. I really did. But good’s not great now is it? I realized I’d never be happy working for someone else. So the idea for Man On The Lam was born. I needed an escape, and I wanted others to be in on it too.

Over the years I’ve come to realize that not everyone wants to quit their job and travel the world. But plenty of note2folks still need a bit of escape in their lives. So that’s what Man On The Lam is today. A mix of two worlds — escapes for folks who dream of travel, and escapism for folks who just need a distraction to get them through the work week and beyond.

Escapism takes many forms — a good book, a new hobby, a great app, and from time-to-time, a stiff drink. You’ll see many of these stories here. Plus the usual unique travel adventures and destination profiles this site was built on. I hope you stick around. In the meantime, safe travels wherever your road takes you.
