Koh Libong, Thailand
Doc, I’ve got crabs. They’re all over my feet though. It’s a crustacean infestation. Can you prescribe something?
These little fellas can be found scurrying along the beach in Ko Libong, Thailand. Many of them favour travelling in shells like this chap here. I like to think of them as mobile homes for hermits (I think that’s the type of crab this is).
Then again, if I lived in a mobile home, I’d probably be a hermit too.

Great close up shot.More colourful than most I’ve seen.
Thanks Leigh!
Reminds me of the hermit crabs my daughter had as pets!
The only crabs we had growing up were for dinner.
A crab with its own “RV” built-in!
None of this living in the sand business for this guy.
Nice shot — scary little creature. Fun piece, Raymond.
Thanks Cathy. My goal is to have more fun this year…
Kind of cute I suppose, but the only crab I like is one that is big enough to eat!
I prefer the lobster.
Your official title should be vagabond or hanger-on, not hermit. You’re too social…:)
I prefer dandy.
nice pic
Fun little photo! I remember my then 6-year-old was fascinated with these little creatures on the beach; she kept running after them.
cute!
LOL The opening line got me. Doc, I’ve got crabs! Cool shot, too.
