Which are the best casinos to visit in Las Vegas?

If you are looking for a vacation with an essence of casino – Las Vegas is still the place to go. You will be spoilt for choice in Sin City, and these casinos cannot be missed out.

Las Vegas Nevada from the sky

The MGM Grand

This is the biggest casino you can find in Vegas, and it may well be the best (that’s a difficult one to call). The MGM Grand fully lives up to the promise of that name, from the roaring stone lions that watch over the entrance, to the huge gaming floor featuring more than 3,500 slot machines and 165 table games. It’s not all about the casino though, because you will also find wonderful restaurants and the Grand Garden Arena entertainment venue here.

The Bellagio

This casino has become world famous thanks to being featured in smash hit Hollywood movie franchises like Ocean’s Eleven – and the spectacular Fountains of Bellagio make it instantly recognisable when you arrive. Everything is luxurious here, from the opulent rooms in the hotel to the glorious gaming floor, making it one of Vegas’s genuinely world class casinos.

Caesar’s Palace

Another modestly named Vegas casino and another world renowned one – the Colosseum venue here is where stars like Elton John and Rod Stewart perform during their Vegas residencies. The building is designed to replicate ancient Rome, featuring marble columns and fountains, but the slot and table games on the games floor are totally modern.

Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino

This casino has a South Seas beach resort look and vibe – right down to actually having a beach within the complex! You can even check out a shark reef here, making it one of the most exciting casinos in Las Vegas before you even hit the gaming floors. Admittedly the gambling here is rather tailored to the high roller rather than the average man playing, but there are plenty of 5 and 25 cent slot machines for those with more restricted budgets.
